The island of Murter was inhabited in ancient times by Greeks, Illyrians and Romans. They left clear traces of their presence in architectural remains of Roman buildings, a rustic port and mosaics which signified the importance of the island.

Day 5 – Wednesday: Murter – Ravni Zakan – National Park Kornati

The fifth day you will sail towards the Kornati National Park which is an untouched Pearl of the Adriatic Sea. The Kornati islands are the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean. There is no other location in the Adriatic with so many islands crammed so closely together with a surface area of about 320 km2.
The majority of its approximately 150 islands are uninhabited with a few families and farmers living on them throughout the seasons. Perhaps the most distinctive aspects of the islands are the handmade dry stone walls that are built using stacked stones with nothing to bind the stones together.
All the islands are elongated so the walls are built from sea to sea, that is, from one side of the island to the other. The walls are built high enough that a sheep cannot skip over them to someone else’s pasture.

Day 6 – Thursday: National Park Kornati – Zirje, Island of Kaprije

Day six begins as you sail to the island of Kaprije named after the Mediterranean capers whose buds are used as a spice. The island is rich in hills, between which are small valleys of fertile land where grape vines and olives grow.
Zirje is situated in the southwestern part of the island and is sheltered from all winds. In the 14th and 15th centuries the island of Kaprije belonged to the feudal lords of Sibenik.
From the beginning of the 16th and end of the 17th century the island becoming a haven for refugees from the Mainland. Kaprije is abundant with beautiful coves for swimming and is filled with good restaurants to choose from to dine

Day 7 – Friday: Zirije, Island Kaprije – Primosten – Rogoznica

The seventh day you move towards the beautiful small town of Primosten, which is in fact a small island connected to the Mainland by a bridge. The town has a motto “the Sun, the sea, friendship and health” so during your stay in Primosten you will always feel welcome.
On the peninsula of Raduca near the town of Primosten there is a world-wide association that follows the same motto and hosts international gardens, bringing soil from all continents and countries.
We recommend you take a look at the unique vineyards of Babic wine varieties. As the day comes to a close you will sail back to the port of Rogoznica and disembark from your sailboat with memories to last a lifetime.
